Volume as a trap
Traditional real estate built its model on a simple premise: more deals, more commissions, more growth. That logic works for portals that sell advertising. It doesn't necessarily work for the investor who needs sound advice.
The volume model creates overextended advisors, properties listed without genuine value analysis, and clients who receive attention proportional to their urgency—not their potential.
The boutique model starts from the opposite premise.
The five principles of the R&H model
1. Diagnosis before offer
Before presenting a property, we understand what the investor is looking for: investment horizon, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, return objectives, and geographic preference.
A property that's perfect for one investor might be wrong for another with the same capital. The difference lies in the prior diagnosis.
2. Selected properties, not mass-published listings
Our active portfolio is small by design. Each property has been evaluated against criteria including projected appreciation, build quality, rental potential, and legal standing. Properties that don't meet these standards simply don't enter our portfolio.
This means the investor doesn't browse hundreds of options to find the three good ones. They receive directly the three good ones.
3. Off-market access
A significant portion of the best real estate opportunities never reach the portals. They circulate among serious buyers and discreet sellers. Our relationships with private owners and developers in Argentina and Costa Rica give us access to these opportunities before they become public.

4. Response in under 2 hours
Speed isn't an indicator of desperate urgency. It's respect for the investor's time. When someone makes a serious inquiry, they deserve a serious—and quick—response.
Our structural model allows for it: small teams, limited portfolios, no overextended advisors.
5. No hidden conflicts of interest
In the traditional model, the advisor has incentives to close deals regardless of whether they're best for the client. At R&H, success is measured by the investor's long-term satisfaction, not by the number of deals closed in a month.
This makes us slower in some cases. And more trustworthy in all of them.
